Wis. DHS said over 3,000 people have died in relation to COVID-19

Health officials reported 3,005 people in Wisconsin have died in relation to COVID-19 as of Saturday afternoon. This is an increase of 51 people since Friday.

The state Department of Health Services (DHS) said a total of 6,224 out of 17,893 COVID-19 tests returned positive. This brings the total number of people in the state to have ever tested positive for the virus to 351,169 with just over 272,000 people being marked as recovered.
