Staffordshire mum who fled to Syria to join ISIS: 'I'm no longer a threat to UK'

A Staffordshire mum jailed for joining terror group ISIS has spoken out in a TV interview.

Tareena Shakil, then aged 24, told her family she was taking her little boy on holiday to Turkey but instead used her student loan to cross the border into Syria to join the terror group in 2014.

In 2016, following her return to the UK, she was jailed for six years. The former Morrisons worker was released three years later and now says she no longer poses a threat to Britain.
