A Russian Ministry of Defense tweet claiming to show evidence of U.S. support for the Islamic State in Syria cited a screenshot from a video game, open source intelligence advisory firm Bellingcat revealed Tuesday.

The tweet claimed to show “irrefutable evidence” of an ISIS convoy leaving a border crossing point in Syria when in fact it was “a cropped screenshot from the mobile phone game AC-130 Gunship Simulator, specifically a screenshot from a promo video for the game.” Bellingcat further noted that the Russians did not even bother to remove all of the text from the promo video originally reading “DEVELOPMENT FOOTAGE. THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. ALL CONTENT SUBJECT TO CHANGE.”

The group also highlighted the work of another Twitter account, pointing out that “another alleged drone image accusing US of cooperating with IS was taken from a June 2016 Iraqi MoD video showing Iraqi Air Force bombing IS near Fallujah”
