English punk rocker-turned ISIS terrorist killed in airstrike

A British woman recruited by the ISIS terrorist organization after converting to Islam and travelling to Syria was killed by a US drone strike earlier this year, The Sun reported on Wednesday.

Sally Jones, a 48-year-old British former punk rock musician living on welfare, converted to Islam in 2013 and eloped with Pakistani-British ISIS propagandist Junaid Hussain.

Jones brought her son, JoJo, then eight years old, with her to Syria, where he too was inducted into the ISIS terror organization.

According to The Sun, JoJo was identified in a video recording of an ISIS execution in which he apparently took part.

Jones, who also had a 20-year-old son who remained in the UK, was dubbed the “White Widow” and became a prolific recruiter for ISIS, eventually ending up on the Pentagon’s kill list. Jones encouraged Westerners – in particular Western women – to convert to Islam and join the ISIS cause, and professed her desire to behead Christians with “a nice blunt knife”.

Two years ago, Jones’ husband, Hussain, was killed by a US drone strike in Syria.

A source within the British government told The Sun this week that Jones had also been killed in a separate drone strike this June.

“The Americans zapped her trying to get away from Raqqa,” the source said. “Quite frankly, it’s good riddance.”

The source added that Jones regularly used her 12-year-old son JoJo as a human shield, and that the child may have also been killed in the airstrike.
