Cleveland City Council, sidelined by the coronavirus crisis, takes big step toward resuming regular meetings

CLEVELAND, Ohio – City Council took a big step toward returning to normal operations Wednesday, meeting as a full body, albeit remotely, for the first time since March.


The agenda was simple. City Council approved several ordinances to spend money on arts, cultural and improvement projects in their wards. Members have discretionary funds at their disposal, but spending the money requires a formal vote.
