As COVID-19 rages, more health care workers are quitting, and job openings hit a new high

In Dallas-Plano-Irving, health care jobs have recovered to their pre-pandemic levels, and then some.

Outpatient services, which include doctor’s offices and clinics and account for the most health jobs, have 5,200 more local employees than two years ago, before the pandemic hit. That’s impressive, considering how patients pulled back on care as COVID-19 spread.
